This has some grippy tannins and dark pepper and olive detail sitting under the sweet, ripe fruit. Blackberries and black cherries dominate, with a nice combination of the sweet and savoury. Stylish.

Bold and meaty with some earthiness and generous, moderately dry tannins, this is a full-bodied wine for this appellation. A touch rustic at the finish, but plenty of substance.
A waxy nose with honey and marzipan. The palate has density and depth as well as good energy and vibrancy – broad and also zippy with acidity on the finish.
