Vroeger was Perth de blending hoofdstad van de wereld, waar veel beroemde blends werden vervaardigd. Nu is wordt het "de vergeten whiskystad" genoemd. Veel whisky bedrijven zijn vertrokken en is het Old Perth dat hier nog steeds mooie verschillende blended malts maakt, uit een selectie van  veelal uit de Glenlivet regio Speyside. 

Proefnotitie

Neus: Robuuste aardse geur met honing, kaneel en warme kersen.

Smaak: Heerlijk klassieke Sherry tonen met eikenhout, rozijnen en  en een kruidige toets

Afdronk: Een mooie mondvullende lange afdronk met een combinatie van kruiden en gedroogd fruit
